Five for Friday!

Starting out I've seen Five for Friday posts, and this is the first week that I've wanted to try it out. It's an opportunity to share my five favorite things each Friday. I hope it's as well worth it as I plan on it being.

One 

My abundant overflow of nail polish. Every girl has there obsessions, and sometimes we have them on max extremities. Nail Polish is mine, I can never have enough. Different colors for different moods. This was taken a month ago, so I'm sure I have more now. But I always enjoy doing my own nails, and I even do both my mother and my mother in laws as well. A Fresh coat of Nail polish does a Gal good! (:  

Two 

 

God's Beauty! I never get tired of seeing a wonderful Sunset! It's such a sweet reminder that God created this world, and he did so perfectly. I love the beauty's of the earth, and seeing all of God's creations. It soothes the soul to just see these beauties. Next time you find you're self, Troubled, Stressed, Upset, or just In one of those funky moods, Take some time to go on the front porch, a drive, or wherever outside to inhale the beautiful creation of God, It will sure be such a relaxing time to make you feel at ease again.

My photogenic Kitten! Meet Salem! he is my Black, four legged pal, who is sweet and loving, but also very hyper and always loves to play no matter what the clock says! I'm an animal lover, but this handsome fellow has bonded with me ever since we got him! and always knows, when I curl up on the couch with a blanket, he has to be in the center of it all! I know not everyone is Cat lover's but even if you're not, How can you deny this cute pic?!!!

Cookies and Cream Ice cream, My weakness in a cup! Seriously, one of my favorite things about summer is that, I'm always in the mood for a cup of Ice cream. Crisp's is one my favorite dairy places to pick up such a delicious splurge. I'm the girl who loves Vanilla, but you throw cookies in there, I give a whole new meaning to the character of Cookie Monster. (: 

Five 

 

   Last but not least, A good book, a cup of Orange Juice, and Coffee mugs!. All three count as my favs. It's part of my morning regimen. Usually I would have a nice cup of joe in the mug, but due to warmer weather, I'm convicted to drink hot beverages, in warmer weather. Now I will say I'm always up for Ice Coffee, but Orange juice always is a good beverage in the morning. I also love to read a great book while I'm starting to wake up. I have a stack of books to read over the summer, that were loaned to me through my friend. and Ive read two so far! and both I've enjoyed. (:

Sick and Stuck In :(

        


Over the weekend, My Fiance' were able to do our first mini Vacation with his parents! and it happened that we were going on our 2 year Engagement Anniversary! We went to Dayton, OH, and camped, but on the way up I developed a minor soar throat. Thinking nothing of this, I just wanted to enjoy the getaway for the weekend. We got to the campground on Thursday evening, after eating a delicious meal at Don Pablos. (By far the best Mexican Restaurant Ever!!!) I felt pretty good, and enjoyed the evening just chit chatting. However, on Friday was a whole different story, to make a long story short, I got worse and worse each day, even had to make a pit stop at my papaws in Lexington cause I just could not travel as much being this sick.  Traveling and sickness do not go well together at all! Finally Sunday afternoon feeling worse than ever, I just wanted to get home, and as soon as we got back into town, went straight to Urgent Care and was told I had developed Pneumonia Crazy how fast I developed it! lucky I have such a wonderful man that drove and took care of me!


Between the 4 hour of Breathing Treatments, and 3 other Medications, I'm stuck on the couch, with my laptop, tablet, and Catching up on some TV shows. Luckily, my Fiance' will drop by and visit which I'm glad to see him, just can't wait to get back on my feet! Even though I'm feeling so much better, just staying in finishing the meds, and hope to be able to get out  for Church on Sunday!

Long time no....Post!

Sorry for the 3 months of no posts, Busy Busy. These past 3 months. So here is for me to catching you guys up on what's happened in my life. 

So since the last post, I was in the middle of working on Wedding Prep, we are still planning our wedding, and now getting things made up. The last post I was in the middle of spring semester for 2014, it started in January and I finished the semester in the beginning of May. I Finished with a 3.0 and all B's. I was thinking of going during the summer, but took it off, due to our Family Vacation in July to TN!  and for a possible Job that I'm trying to get. The Job is for a Teaching Assistant at my Fiance's Grandparents Church, and It's what I'm going to school for. I have an Interview Today!! Wish me Luck! and I'll let you know what Happens! 

Also I had my 21'st Birthday Celebration, It was a Fantastic Birthday, and especially when we got all confused cause Nick My Fiance'. was trying to throw me a Surprise birthday, but it turned into all of us getting confused and my Friends, and I now laugh at it!!! Anyway, I had the best Birthday, with my man, and my friends, Here is some of the pics to recap it! 

 

I wasn't the only Birthday person, My Mom and my Fiance' celebrated there Birthday's. My Fiance' was first on May 2nd. He turned 23. and my Mom had her's on the 13. Birthday's are always a blessing. weather it's mine I'm celebrating, or participating, in my friend's or Family Birthday! Apparently, my Fiance's pics for his Birthday are not uploading so I'll have a separate post later on.. But here is my mom's pics.  

So this has been the past 3 months. in a simple nutshell. I will be posting more regularly, now that I'm on Summer break, and Who knows there may be Surprises around every corner.

Wedding Preporation

Sorry for the lack of posting, Life gets very busy and I've been really focused in my school work. If you don't know me, it takes a lot for me too focus. So lately, with everything else going on, Nick-my wonderful, charming, Fiance'.- and myself have decided to make our wedding date officially set for June 13th, 2015!!! Which is now a little over a year, but I've started and decided that we want to make this a less costly as possible. Seriously have you seen budget's now a days, it's completely ridiculous. So I've been on a mission to make everything and become like a DIY Bride! Which is actually really fun, and everything will have a personal touch to it. So with all this said, These pictures are what I've started working on. 

This project was less than $7.00! I got this photo Frame from Walmart in the Valentines day section, they had them on sale, and I painted them to match our colors, Plum and Tangerine. I painted the frames, Which actually, my fiance' painted the orange one! Then i bought the small Iridescent glitter, which i sprinkled on the frames, but first, I sprayed some crafting glue. Then i bought, some silver ribbon, and added it to the frame to hang on the aisle pew! All we need to do is add pictures, which I'll post later on when fully completed. but here is what the finishing project looks like~~

And there we have it, A simple project that will add a personal touch to you're wedding! 

I'm getting really excited as we get closer, and I have so many more projects too do, looks like I need to invest in a Hot Glue Gun! 

 

Sorry, but this is just a short post, Tell me what you think of this? or any suggestions to make better! but I'm really loving the turn out, If you think there is too much Glitter, well this is nothing compared too what's going to be at the Wedding! lol

 

Love is in the Air!

XO Valentines Day XO 

Sorry about the few days that I haven' posted, Life as a College student sometimes causes us too be wrapped up in our studies, which I'm so determined to finish school. Has too take a lot for me too focus.  I always have loved Valentines day. Not many people do, because I know some folks, who hate it due to the fact they don't have a significant other too share it with, well untill 2 1/2 years ago I was just like that and still enjoyed this time of year. I do agree that our society, Just like every other Holiday, gets over commercialized with what that day is all about.

 

Just because some people don't have a significant other dosn't mean that you can't enjoy this holiday, because I always know that God will always be my Valentine. Notice the picture above the simple words "Be Mine" I used this too show you that, Jesus wanted us too simply be his. He gave us his heart and should and cherished us more than any other Human being. His love always remained with us, and everything he did, he did for us. John 15:13-" Greater love have no one than this: to lay down one's life for his friends."-NIV.  I'm not preaching, I just wanted to share this love, because, it warms my heart every time I think about it. Seriously, I get chill bumps. I will admit that I used to try to wrap my head around the fact that everything he did, he did to save us and love us. God has blessed me so much in my life, and he has given me a Valentine, but He was the First valentine. I'm so thankful for him because, without him I would be or have nothing. My life has had some horrible falls, but God, was always there to pick me up and dust me off again. God does this constantly, I wonder how much he can handle me sometimes. He must handle me a lot cause he never stopped loving me. He never forgets what I need, he never says he doesn't care, cause he is always there to show unconditional love. 

 

Ephesians 2: 4-5, "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you've been saved - " NIV.  

I'm excited to spend Valentines day with my Future Husband, Don't know what he has planned,  but I want too also share the day with god, cause he was our first Valentine, and his love needs to be shared with everyone.

Snowed In with Blankts, Turnig into a Blizzard!

***Snow Snow Snow and wait More Snow!*** 

This week where I live has been something, we have accumulated a total of 4" of snow. As of now until Monday, we are supposed to get more snow not sure quit the amount. Literally from this past weeks snow storm, we were about too see some clearing, until about this afternoon we had some majorly high winds an tons of snow! I took a picture of what it looks like outside my window right now, 

 ***EEEK*** 

So as you can tell with this much already on the ground and it's only to be snowing until Monday! I maybe snowed in for a while. I attend College, but my Brother was out of his Elementary school for this past week and now looking like This week to come as well. I do have a test Monday, but I'm kind of hoping that it will be cancelled! ~Fingers Crossed~ 

I'm hoping due to the current weather conditions, that I'll be able to continue too blog more, as I enjoy picking up on new followers, and ideas. Well, I'm thankful for Netflix, Hot CoCo, Blankets, and Warmth in general, because even though we have gotten this much snow, we are baring to face the -Temps! (negative temps) SOOO NOT EXCITING! However I'm staying in, and totally enjoying some family time! My Fiance' is here with us and is snowed in and decided to stay with us tonight on our pull out couch with my bro! (They have a Bromance, that Should have a blog in it's self.)   

I do have a bloglovin account, with a button on my blog! I just started blogging, and I'm looking to make new friends, and connect with people. I really would love some Follower's my blog does seem empty. I know I'm sounding a little...DESPERATE....But I can't help it!!! I will say however Ive found some wonderful blogs! Glam, Glitter, Gloss, and My Random Thoughts!*

This is how I feel all the time, I just knew since I was little that I was born with glitter in my veins and feel it running through me, Okay maybe not that far, but I'm just obsessed with anything Glittery, and sparkly. I believe I'm not the only woman who loves Glamour, Glitter, and Gloss!

Thoughts of the day:

I woke up today  feeling, a little girly, as you can see the glitter post above. lol. I had a fun night with the future hubby last night, he decided to take us to O' Charley's where we had a wonderful dinner. I'ts so nice to have date nights, takes me back before we were engaged, and reminding me how much I love him! but it's not because he took me out, it's the fact I love just spending quality time with him! Okay, I'm getting a little too mushy! but I just had a wonderful evening! We did however run too Wally world afterwards, and we decided to get a gift for our Friends baby! She turns 1 next Saturday, so we wanted to get her a little something, and So we found this: 

When I saw this I knew she would love it! From asking her mom she loves stuffed animals, and when you feel this it's super soft and cuddly! and this was way too cute not too share. I also got some new Hair dye~ which as soon as I dye my hair I'll for sure have a post! hehe. but I also decided that I'm planning on working out this year, and Loosing all this excess weight. My goal is too lose 98 pounds before July. or try to at least before Swimsuit season! So i splurged a little last night and Got One a Day Women's multivitamin tablet. I took one this morning! but I just wanted to share all of this with you. 

I would like too know:

• Is there any other gals taking Multivitamins? 
• What's you're Favorite brand of Lipgloss or Lipstick?
• Blogging tips? Love to get the hang of this, and would love some Feedback!

had a wonderful Friday night, Spent the evening with my future hubby, and had our Date night. also spent the night being a blogger addict, and finding new followers, and looking forward too meeting new people. Cold, upcomig Ideas, and My BFF!

This is how of lately Ive been feeling this week. It's been cold with a whole lot of snow!

I don't know about you, but I'm sure going to be ready for summer, but I have a feeling since this winter we have hit the below zero temperatures, I believe that we may be hitting above 100 degrees this summer so it may be a hot one, who knows we will have to wait and see!

    

So as of lately, The Fiance' and I have decided to get married next year, to give us time to get things together, financially speaking, So this picture I stole off The Knot.com where I do all my planning and organizing on our wedding day. This picture is too show you my upcoming craft idea, cause I wanted to decorate the pews with this idea. The concept of this is for each side of the middle aisle is too have this frames to show which side is the bride's and which side is the groom. I will have our pictures in them from when we were born too when we were engaged. This will be the size of the frames and they will be hung with a ribbon like the picture, but our wedding colors are Plum and Tangerine, so I'm going to go too Hobby Lobby,(my favorite craft store!!) and get some plain wooden craft frames, with of course my coupon! and I have decided to paint them to match our colors. I don't want to give away all the details, cause I will post a pic of the completed project later on. 

Despite the cold weather, Ive been rather busy this week, attending the classes I have taken for this semester, and helping my Mom in Law with her Craft night class. She volunteered to teach a craft night at our church! and let me tell you it's been hectic, but we've gotten the cutest theme, ideas, and have it all set up nicely, It was supposed to be tonight, but with this crazy weather, we decided to move it too next week! (Pics will start on my next post!). I know she is nervous, but I'm so excited for her, cause this will be good for her. She is a talented, craftier! we seriously are like BFF's no doubt! To show you what I mean, 

 So as you can tell we are Like Serious BFF's. This photo was taken Last year, and She will probably kill me for posting this, but I can't help it! She is too Fabulous not too share! :)  

 

First blog Post!

This is my first Legit Blog. I'm really excited to start posting about my hobbies and just general thoughts I have. Looking too make new friends, and Just get into blogging. I don't know really what too post first, cause there are so many things I could talk about. but I'm just happy to have created a blog!
